Policies

All of our policies, procedures, COSHH and method statements are reviewed on an annual basis, with all surveyors and operatives informed of any key changes as part of our annual health and safety training day, or our monthly toolbox talks.

We act on updated or new HSE advice immediately, incorporating any changes into our policies and procedures and ensuring that new health and safety advice is added to our training matrix.

For example, Stallard Kane, our Health & Safety consultants, advised us on the latest guidance from the HSE on hand vibration and two-tier skin surveillance during our Health and Safety audit in March 2018 (at which we gained 98%). By April, we had put in place and carried out vibration and skin surveillance assessments for all of our operatives. These assessments have now been incorporated into our annual medical surveillance check for all operatives.
